Hi Frank,
I was so happy to see that little blue dot beside NLMA in iTunes. I'm glad you're back.
I've never heard of MindNode before, and it's just what I'm looking for. OmniGraffle is expensive, and has too many extra features, and writing on paper isn't digital or cool. ;) MindNode is just right. Thanks!
Excellent podcast on Mind Node. I have been digging it for a couple of months since a developer friend turned me on to it.
Just a tip for EverNote Beta users. I create mindmaps in Mind Node and then export to jpg. I then add the mind node into EverNote. EverNote will then OCR the image so the mindmap is searchable within my notes. The only disadvantage is that if I change my Mind Node document, I have to update the image in EverNote.
I also like the fact that Mind Node document files can be viewed in Quick View by clicking the spacebar while the file is selected. This is a great way to check it out.
In addition, Mind Node documents are indexed in Spotlight so you can find Mind Nodes by searching words within the document. Cool!
splendid episode, glad you're back ! keep the casts at that length (and the enhanced audio file played wonderfully on my Axim X30, whilst driving of course)
